We swap out existing images for new ones you supply — up to 10 images across your site — keeping placement, sizing, and any responsive behaviour intact. This is a straightforward replacement: we use the images you provide, already sized and ready, rather than sourcing or creating anything new.
Image replacement - up to 10 images
Up to 10 replacement images swapped in, keeping existing placement and sizing intact.
- Full backup taken before we start
- If we can’t fix it, you get your money back
- We never ask for your own password
What we need from you
- The replacement images themselves, already sized appropriately for their intended placement
- Alt text for each replacement image
- A clear list of exactly which existing image each new one replaces, and where
This or something else?
| You have up to 10 replacement images ready and know exactly where each one goes | This fix covers it |
| You have more than 10 images to replace | Image replacement – up to 50 images, or the 200-image tier |
| You need images resized, cropped, or optimised, not replaced with different ones | Image resize, crop & optimize batch |
| You need a hero or banner image swapped specifically across multiple templates | Hero & banner image swap across templates |
What we do
- Confirm the mapping of which existing image each supplied image replaces
- Check supplied images for basic technical suitability (format, reasonable file size)
- Replace each image while preserving its existing placement and any responsive sizing
- Apply the supplied alt text to each new image
- Verify each replacement displays correctly across devices
- Check for any broken references following the swap
What is included
- Up to 10 images replaced with your supplied versions
- Existing placement and responsive behaviour preserved
- Supplied alt text applied to each new image
- A check for broken references following the replacement
Not included
- Sourcing, selecting, or creating any images — this replaces with what you supply
- Writing alt text for the new images, if not already provided
- Resizing or cropping images beyond basic technical suitability checks
- Redesigning where or how images are displayed, beyond a like-for-like swap
Questions about this fix
What if my replacement image is a different aspect ratio than the original?
We'd flag this before proceeding, since it can affect how the image displays within its existing placement — sometimes a straightforward swap still works, other times cropping or resizing guidance is worth discussing first.
Do you write alt text for the new images if I don't provide it?
Not as part of this fix — supplying alt text is part of what's needed from you; writing alt text for images is available as a separate, related service if you'd rather have that handled.
Can you help me figure out where each new image should go if I'm not sure?
We work from a clear mapping you provide — deciding which new image replaces which existing one, and where, is a decision that stays with you rather than something we determine independently.
Will this affect my page's loading speed?
We check supplied images for basic technical suitability, though a full performance-focused optimisation pass is a separate, more thorough service if file size and loading speed are a specific concern.
What happens to the old images after they're replaced?
We can remove them from the media library if you'd like, or leave them in place — worth confirming your preference, since some sites prefer to retain old media for reference.

If this is the second time this year
A bad update breaking the site is a symptom of updates not being tested first. Care plans run every update on a staging clone before it reaches your live site, which is the actual fix for this happening again.
Your access, your rules
Create a separate admin account for us and delete it when we are done. For anything else, we get in touch and agree a method — never a form field on this site, never by reply to an email.
We back up first, always
Before anything is touched we take a full backup and keep it for 30 days. If a fix goes wrong, we put the site back exactly as it was.
If it is not what you bought
If the problem turns out smaller than what you ordered, we refund the difference. If it is bigger, we stop and send a quote before doing any extra work.
If we cannot fix it
You get back what we received. Diagnosis is on us — you only pay when the problem is actually solved. The payment processor takes its fee before the money reaches us, so we never hold it and it is not ours to return. That is true here as everywhere else.
If it comes back
Reply within seven days of delivery and we put it back on the bench at no cost. The fix is not finished until it holds.
What we are responsible for
If something goes wrong with a fix, our responsibility is limited to what you paid for it. We take a full backup first so mistakes can be undone, and we tell you before doing anything outside what you bought.
