Search Console tells you how Google actually sees your site — what’s indexed, what’s erroring, what people search to find you — but only once it’s verified and receiving your sitemap; without that connection, Google may still be crawling your site, you just have no visibility into what it’s finding.

Google Search Console verification & sitemap submission

Search Console verified and your sitemap submitted, so you can actually see how Google treats your site.

Needs WP admin login and Search Console access. Create a limited sub-account — we never ask for your own password.
  • Full backup taken before we start
  • If we can’t fix it, you get your money back
  • We never ask for your own password
Why this costs $49. An hour of a capable WordPress developer’s time runs about $82 in the UK, $100 in the US and $105 in the Gulf, and for anything urgent a two-hour minimum is normal. This is $49 for up to 45 minutes of hands-on work, with a full backup taken before we start. 2026 market rates.

What we need from you

  • A Google account to associate with Search Console, or confirmation of an existing one
  • Confirmation of every version of your domain (www, non-www, http, https) so verification covers the right one
  • Whether an XML sitemap already exists, or needs to be generated

This or something else?

You want Search Console set up and receiving data for the first time This fix covers it
Search Console is already set up but shows coverage errors Search Console coverage error remediation
You want a sitemap generated but Search Console is already verified This fix covers it; a smaller version of the same task
You’re also setting up Bing’s equivalent Bing Webmaster Tools setup & sitemap, a separate but related fix

What we do

  1. Verify ownership of the correct domain property in Search Console
  2. Confirm or generate an XML sitemap
  3. Submit the sitemap and confirm Google accepts it
  4. Check for any existing coverage errors already flagged
  5. Set up email alerts for new issues Google finds
  6. Show you where to check the reports that matter most

What is included

  • Verified Search Console property for your site
  • A submitted, accepted sitemap
  • Existing coverage issues reviewed and flagged
  • A short guide to reading the reports that matter

Not included

  • Fixing coverage errors found — quoted separately based on what’s actually wrong
  • Ongoing monitoring of Search Console as a standing service
  • SEO strategy or content recommendations beyond technical setup
  • Verifying properties for domains you don’t control

Questions about this fix

Do I need Search Console if I already have GA4 set up?

Yes, they show different things — GA4 covers visitor behaviour on your site, Search Console covers how Google's crawler and search results treat your site, which GA4 doesn't touch at all.

Will this affect my current search rankings?

No — verifying and submitting a sitemap doesn't change how Google ranks anything, it just gives you visibility into what's already happening.

What if I don't know which domain version is the 'real' one (www or not)?

That's common, and we check your site's actual configuration to confirm which one visitors and Google are actually being served, then verify that one correctly.

Can more than one person have access to Search Console?

Yes, and we can add multiple users at the permission level appropriate for each, whether that's full ownership or just viewing reports.

Will Search Console tell me if my site gets removed from Google search?

Yes, that's exactly the kind of thing it surfaces — which is part of why having it set up before something goes wrong matters.

A bad update breaking the site is a symptom of updates not being tested first. Care plans run every update on a staging clone before it reaches your live site, which is the actual fix for this happening again.

Your access, your rules

Create a separate admin account for us and delete it when we are done. For anything else, we get in touch and agree a method — never a form field on this site, never by reply to an email.

We back up first, always

Before anything is touched we take a full backup and keep it for 30 days. If a fix goes wrong, we put the site back exactly as it was.

If it is not what you bought

If the problem turns out smaller than what you ordered, we refund the difference. If it is bigger, we stop and send a quote before doing any extra work.

If we cannot fix it

You get back what we received. Diagnosis is on us — you only pay when the problem is actually solved. The payment processor takes its fee before the money reaches us, so we never hold it and it is not ours to return. That is true here as everywhere else.

If it comes back

Reply within seven days of delivery and we put it back on the bench at no cost. The fix is not finished until it holds.

What we are responsible for

If something goes wrong with a fix, our responsibility is limited to what you paid for it. We take a full backup first so mistakes can be undone, and we tell you before doing anything outside what you bought.
