A variable product has attributes, variations built from them, and a price and stock record for each. If any of the three is incomplete, WooCommerce hides options rather than showing a broken selector — so the symptom is usually something missing rather than something visibly wrong. Which of the three is broken determines the fix.
Before you buy, one quick look
Read-only. Open the product in the admin, go to the Variations tab, and check each variation has a price.
A variation without a price is never displayed, which is the single most common cause of a missing option. If some are blank, that is your answer — and it may be quicker to fill them in than to buy this.
If prices are all set and options still do not show, the problem is in the attribute data, and that is what this fixes.
Product variation display errors
Variations show wrongly, show out of stock, or do not appear at all. We repair the variation data and configuration so customers can select and buy.
- Full backup taken before we start
- If we can’t fix it, you get your money back

What you are seeing
- Some or all variations missing from the selector
- Variations showing out of stock when they are available
- Prices displaying as a range when a single price is expected
- Images not changing when a variation is selected
- The add-to-cart button staying disabled after selection
Common causes
- Variations with no price set, which WooCommerce will not display
- Attributes not marked as used for variations
- A variation disappearing from the selector because the parent product’s own stock status overrides it, hiding an option that’s actually available
- Orphaned variations left behind after attributes changed
- Attribute terms renamed, breaking the link to existing variations

Questions about this fix
Only one product is affected. Is that worth a fix?
If it is a product that sells, yes. But check the price on each variation first — if that is the cause you can fix it in two minutes for free, and we would rather you did than paid us for it.
Everything shows out of stock but I have stock.
Usually stock managed at both parent and variation level at once. The parent says zero, the variations say available, and the parent wins. Setting one authoritative level fixes it.
It broke after I renamed an attribute.
That is a common one. Variations link to attribute terms by slug, and renaming can break the link while leaving the variation in place. Those orphans are exactly what this repairs.
I have hundreds of variable products. Can you do them all?
This fix covers one product or a small set. For a catalogue-wide repair we quote it separately, because the audit is the bulk of the work and it scales with the number of products.
Can this affect just one variation and not the others on the same product?
Yes — it's actually the more common pattern. A single incomplete variation hides itself without affecting its siblings, which is often why it goes unnoticed until a customer specifically asks for that option.

If this is the second time this year
A bad update breaking the site is a symptom of updates not being tested first. Care plans run every update on a staging clone before it reaches your live site, which is the actual fix for this happening again.
Your access, your rules
Create a separate admin account for us and delete it when we are done. For anything else, we get in touch and agree a method — never a form field on this site, never by reply to an email.
We back up first, always
Before anything is touched we take a full backup and keep it for 30 days. If a fix goes wrong, we put the site back exactly as it was.
If it is not what you bought
If the problem turns out smaller than what you ordered, we refund the difference. If it is bigger, we stop and send a quote before doing any extra work.
If we cannot fix it
You get back what we received. Diagnosis is on us — you only pay when the problem is actually solved. The payment processor takes its fee before the money reaches us, so we never hold it and it is not ours to return. That is true here as everywhere else.
If it comes back
Reply within seven days of delivery and we put it back on the bench at no cost. The fix is not finished until it holds.
What we are responsible for
If something goes wrong with a fix, our responsibility is limited to what you paid for it. We take a full backup first so mistakes can be undone, and we tell you before doing anything outside what you bought.
