We write category and taxonomy archive descriptions — the introductory text often shown at the top of a category page — generated from the actual products or content within that category, never invented independently of what’s genuinely there.

Questions about this fix

What if a category only has one or two products in it?

We'd flag it as too sparse to describe meaningfully — a category description grounded in genuine content needs enough there to actually reflect, which one or two items usually doesn't provide.

Will this description be optimised for specific search terms?

It's written to accurately and clearly describe what's genuinely in the category; targeting specific search terms as a deliberate strategy is a separate, different kind of service outside this fix's scope.

Can this replace category descriptions I've already written?

Only if you specify that's your intent — by default we'd fill in genuinely missing descriptions rather than overwrite existing ones, unless you tell us otherwise.

How is this different from a product description rewrite?

This addresses the category or taxonomy archive page's own introductory text, which is distinct from the individual product description on each product's own page.

Will every category get the same length of description?

We apply a consistent length target per your specified preference, though a category with more to genuinely say may naturally read slightly longer than an intentionally minimal one, within reason.

Your access, your rules

Create a separate admin account for us and delete it when we are done. For anything else, we get in touch and agree a method — never a form field on this site, never by reply to an email.

We back up first, always

Before anything is touched we take a full backup and keep it for 30 days. If a fix goes wrong, we put the site back exactly as it was.

If it is not what you bought

If the problem turns out smaller than what you ordered, we refund the difference. If it is bigger, we stop and send a quote before doing any extra work.

If we cannot fix it

You get back what we received. Diagnosis is on us — you only pay when the problem is actually solved. The payment processor takes its fee before the money reaches us, so we never hold it and it is not ours to return. That is true here as everywhere else.

If it comes back

Reply within seven days of delivery and we put it back on the bench at no cost. The fix is not finished until it holds.

What we are responsible for

If something goes wrong with a fix, our responsibility is limited to what you paid for it. We take a full backup first so mistakes can be undone, and we tell you before doing anything outside what you bought.
